Black, White, Red
This series of pictures dates between 2001 and 2005. It comprises one picture in black, one in white, and five pictures plus one small format in various shades of strong reds. The series explores the effect that different colors exert onto one and the same design.
The tapestries measure 65 x 65cm. They were woven in excess to allow the fabric to flow around the corners when mounted onto lightwood. The small format measures 13 x 13cm and is mounted into a commercial, stainless steel photo frame.
